Unlocking opportunities for academic, athletic, and artistic excellence, we’re thrilled to announce our individualized scholarship application process for the 2024/2025 academic year.
At OSA, we recognize that each student brings something special to our community. That’s why every applicant is automatically considered for a partial (10%) scholarship generously provided by OSA and our esteemed partners.
But that’s not all. Our Principal, Lori Lavalee, personally evaluates each application for additional scholarship opportunities, tailored to recognize exceptional talent and promise.

Outline for Scholarship Applications & Award:
5 Scholarships to OSA Private School! Apply for one of our ELITE Sports or Arts Scholarships in Hockey, Baseball, Dance or Music! Imagine training in your Sport or Art EVERY DAY at school? Sounds like a Dream, right? It doesn’t have to be. You could be the lucky student athlete or artist selected to attend OSA Private School on a full ride scholarship both for our elite Academics & your chosen elite Art/Sport.
OSA Private School offers elite programming as follows:
Hockey – Ottawa Senators Hockey Programs
Baseball – Ottawa Baseball Performance Group
Soccer – Ottawa City Soccer Club
Dance – Capital City Dance
Music – Kanata School of Music
Open to domestic students in Canada
Applicants have consulted with their Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and are able to commit to transportation and attendance for the 2024/2025 Academic School Year @ OSA Private School, located in the heart of the Bell Sensplex. Each application must submit their information through Google Forms with all required documentation.
Criteria: Any student who has consistently demonstrated one, all or a combination of the following attributes
- Demonstrated strong academic ability, leadership capability, volunteer work, extracurricular activities, work experience, and good citizenship
- Have gone above and beyond to succeed in academics
- Actively involved in Sport and/or Art (Hockey, Baseball, Soccer, Music or Dance)
- Shares their passion of academics to benefit others
- Overcome obstacles to persist in education
Students must submit
- A short letter or video explaining why they deserve a scholarship
- Materials to support and demonstrate students achievement(s) – including but not limited to: Report Cards/Transcripts, Awards/Accolades, Letters of Recommendation/Reference
- A parent must digitally sign that they provide their consent for your Application
Students/Families must be able to:
- Commit to Joining the OSA Private School Family
- Have transportation to/from school Monday-Friday: 9am Start, 3pm Dismissal
- Awareness of our Holiday Schedule (3 weeks @ Christmas & 2 weeks @ March Break)
- Each student involved in an athletic partnership must be able to cover the cost of annual Strength & Conditioning ($1,910)
- Each student must purchase a school uniform (Approx. $300-$500)
- Able to commit to and financially able to attend Field Trips with OSA (Skiing/Snowboarding, Montreal CCM Performance Lab Visit, Ottawa Senators Hockey Games, Titans Baseball Games, RedBLACKS Football Games, Atlético Ottawa Games, National Arts Performances etc)
Selection Committee:
Each application will be weighted and presented to our elite Partners for Scholarship Selection. OSA Private School, in partnership with our elite Partners, will select applicants at our sole and absolute discretion.
